ACO has introduced a hygienically designed extra-deep drainage channel. The new channel design provides extended flow rates and higher retention capacities than existing channel solutions, making it perfect for use in breweries, soft drinks manufacturing facilities and any application which has to process high volumes of water. Available as a bespoke engineered solution , ACO‘s extra-deep channel is available in depths of up to 360mm.
New odour proof gully cover puts HygieneFirst

ACO has introduced a new hygienic gully cover, one of several new products being added to its range of hygienically designed drainage. The new cover hermetically separates the floor surface above the gully from the space within it. It has been designed specifically for use in hygienically sensitive aeas where dry processing and controlled wet cleaning take place, and in areas where foul air traps have become dry and so a new form of odour protection is required.

Regulations regarding the amount of grease contained in waste water entering the sewer system are often the most common reason why hotels choose to separate fats, oils and grease (FOG) but hoteliers should also be aware that FOG has the potential to cause serious damage to the reputation of the hotel. When solidified grease accumulates over time in pipework, it can flood a hotel’s premises with waste water that has either backed up in a blocked pipe or come from a ruptured pipe as a result of this issue - a costly mishap that can put any hotel out of business for a long period of time.
